According to newly received information, currently on servers that install cPanel from version 11.109.9999.116 and earlier, there is a vulnerability with code CVE-2023-29489. This vulnerability allows hackers to steal credentials, login sessions, execute commands, and take control of the server remotely.
The vulnerability affects cPanel management ports such as 2080, 2082, 2083, 2086 and default web ports 80 and 443.

Advisory: To avoid being exploited, you need to update cPanel as well as the software to the latest version (the system will ask to reboot the server if necessary)
